  • 1 batch of our The Best Sugar Cookie Recipe
  • 1 batch of our The Best Buttercream Frosting
  • 1 bag Wilton Bright White Candy Melts
  • Green Food Coloring
  • Christmas Sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Prepare a batch of our The Best Sugar Cookie Recipe as directed.
  2. Roll out the cookie dough to a slightly thinner consistency than traditional sugar cookies, approximately 1/8 inch thick. Use a round cookie cutter to cut out uniform circles.
  3. Place each cookie dough circle over the opening of a mini muffin tin. Gently press the center of the cookie dough down and mold it around the inside of the muffin cup to form a cup shape.
  4. Bake the cookie cups in a preheated 350-degree oven for 5-6 minutes. Watch carefully around the 4-minute mark and remove them just before the edges start browning to prevent over-baking. Let the cookie cups cool completely in the tin before handling.
  5. Melt 15-20 Wilton Bright White Candy Melts in the microwave, stirring every 15 seconds until smooth. (White chocolate chips can be used as an alternative.)
  6. Dip the tops of the cooled cookie cups into the melted candy melts, then immediately dip them into your festive Christmas sprinkles.
